The 20 videos are between five and fifteen minutes duration and are streamed to a user’s computer enabling them to learn when and where it suits them – at home, on holiday, or indeed anywhere they can connect their computer to the internet with a suitable internet connection.

Sailaboat have incorporated a number of different training and filming techniques that, when brought together, make these videos a powerful learning experience. These include:

The videos have been produced by video production professionals Tympani Productions with the guidance of senior RYA Instructor Tim Hore – giving you a great quality video containing the skills and knowledge you need to know. The academy is the ideal place for keen Karting enthusiasts to gain the knowledge and understanding needed to turn their hobby into a potential career in motorsport.

Each driver will receive two 20 minute classroom sessions to learn how to get the best out of the kart and the excellent tracks at Eastleigh and Gosport.  They then take this knowledge to the track and put themselves to the test with races designed to mimic national Karting events.

Ginetta G20

 Racing perfection provide motorsport databases for both Karting and Circuit Racing in the UK and have recently launched the Ginetta Scholarship which gives the winning participant the chance to win a seasons free racing in the 2010 Ginetta Challenge (formerly known as the Ginetta G20 Championship).     

The scholarship consists of a qualification round (held on 26th February and 5th March) where drivers will enter into a qualifying round that will see them being put through their paces on and off the circuit, this consists of:

- 2 track sessions with a professional instructor in a Ginetta G20 race car. 
- Media training.
- Interviews on and off camera.
- General fitness analysis with advice pack.   

After these qualifying days the 15 most promising drivers will then go through to the Final where they will receive further track time and tuition with an eventual winner being selected by a panel of 3 judges. The winner will then be run by the team in the 2010 Ginetta Challenge.     

Websites1st will be at the second assessment on March 5th giving advice to upcoming drivers on how to promote themselves online in order to get the relevant sponsorship and contacts they will need in order to progress their racing careers.
